Project description
Mechanical installation and specialized rigging of a large-format flexographic press, including equipment unloading, positioning, optical alignment, anchoring, press assembly, support for electrical installation, and overall coordination of assembly activities. The project included receiving equipment shipped in multiple ocean containers as well as installing a W&H Miraflex M10 press at Faspac’s production facility in Montréal.
As part of the expansion of its flexible packaging production capabilities, Faspac Plastiks Inc. installed a new 145 cm (57-inch) W&H Miraflex II M10 flexographic press to increase manufacturing capacity and support continued growth. Egzatek was responsible for carrying out all handling, mechanical assembly, and coordination activities required to successfully install this major production asset.
The project required the receipt and logistical management of numerous modules shipped from Europe, including large and heavy components. Installation activities were planned to minimize disruption to ongoing plant operations while ensuring compliance with manufacturer requirements and applicable safety standards.
Egzatek’s teams performed reference line layout, specialized equipment handling, precision alignment, and full press assembly according to the manufacturer’s specifications. Close coordination with Windmöller & Hölscher representatives and site personnel ensured compliance with the installation schedule and effective preparation for subsequent commissioning activities.
Since its founding, Egzatek has completed dozens of industrial press installations for globally recognized manufacturers. This expertise enables our teams to execute large-scale projects safely, efficiently, and predictably while reducing the risks associated with production interruptions and complex equipment handling.
